Brains' 2012 award follows
The Spy Book's 2011 honor



     Daniel Breeze’s novel Brains won an award in the 2012 USA Book Awards.
     It was a Finalist in the humor category.
     This is the second year in a row that a humor book published by McNeil & Richards won an award in the Best Books competition, which is sponsored by USA Book News. The Spy Book, by John Westin, was honored in the 2011 USA Book Awards as a finalist.
     Brains tells the story of a team of fun-loving Chicago pseudo-intellectuals who battle competitors from other cities for the right to play in the biggest quiz-competition game of all, the Brains Bowl.
     In The Spy Book, an unwilling Soviet spy and a University of Virginia professor put the last nails in the coffin of the Soviet Union.
